I just arrived home from my fifth retreat at the Threshing Floor in Georgia, and this one was by far the best. The staff was excellent, the location worked well, the organization was solid, but what really stood out was the agenda.

We had so many opportunities for interaction, and those who stepped into them definitely grew. For me, one of the biggest takeaways was something very practical. I had been going back and forth about using AI tools like Microsoft CoPilot for my email and executive assistant tasks. After talking with one of the presenters, I finally saw the value, and I’ve already signed up. I’m excited about the time it’s going to save me.

What I love about this retreat is that it’s not only about spiritual growth but also about practical things we can use in everyday life. On top of that, I had the joy of reconnecting with someone I knew from childhood. Now I get to help her connect with cousins she didn’t even know lived in the same city.

Spiritually, it was powerful to watch so many people grow. The number of people walking in the prophetic has increased so much, and seeing them step out in their gifts was inspiring. I also noticed how many attendees are taking better care of their health. Some looked completely different. Having a safe place for honest and sometimes tough conversations that lead to growth is such a blessing.

Over these five retreats, I’ve seen the staff and leaders grow too, and it excites me to see what God is doing in this ministry. I feel like we are building relationships that go far beyond the campgrounds, and we are all richer for it.

To all the ministers, thank you for pouring into my life. I’m already looking forward to February. For those who missed this retreat, go ahead and start preparing now. Even if it means setting a little aside at a time, it’s worth it. What God is doing here is exciting, and I’m so glad to be a part of it
